I first found an interest in computers when I was quite young. My father used Macintosh computers for his graphic arts business and I can remember playing in programs and games such as Fullpaint, Stunt Copter, Oregon Trail and Lemmings. As the years went by my father upgraded to newer Macintosh computers, and in turn I upgraded to newer games for them such as Warcraft, DOOM, and Myst. At this time and even up to my final year in high school, the information technology wave hadn't hit at all and I was only lucky enough to get one general computer class in my graduating year. Because of the lack of computer education I had in high school I didn't really know much about computers, but I knew I enjoyed using them and found it to be quite amazing with what they could do. I graduated high school in 2000 and was uncertain with what I really wanted to do so I took a position in my parents business working as a pressman.

In 2001 work became quite slow and I decided it was time to further my education with something I was more interested in. Computers just seemed too fascinating for me to pass up so I enrolled at South Hills School of Business and Technology and entered into the Computer Information System track majoring in Network Administration. At the time of starting college I finally got my first computer, this time it was a Windows based computer. From then on I started learning in college and exploring at home. Trying different things on my own and getting help from my teachers and advisors when I would get in a jam. I immediately became surrounded in computer technology and I loved every bit of it.

Now I am still surrounded in computer technology and I am still enjoying it as much as the first weeks of college. I am currently working for myself running a small computer consulting business doing anything from upgrades, to small network installation, to complete custom built computers and everything in between. I am still looking for a position in the information technology field so if you are an employer reading this, please consider me for the position. I have gained a lot of experience working for myself both on the computer side and the business side, but I know there is always more experience to gain when it comes to this field of work.
